Some people love it, some hate it..I am the former. I grow my coriander in a pot in the partially shaded area of the greenhouse and it is perfectly happy, a great windowsill plant, coriander will be happy in your kitchen as long as it isn't over-watered. At this time of year the leaves are growing really well and the scent is incredible, added to salads, pasta dishes, chilli con carne and curries it is really versatile and very beneficial to the digestive system.
Later in the year when the leaves start to die back and the plant bolts I collect the seed heads and dry them upside down in a paper bag, it's great fun teasing them out of their husks. Very occasionally a plant will come back for a second year, mine did this time but more often than not coriander is an annual plant.
